Junior Growth Marketer (Finnish-speaking)
Drive growth in Finland for the leading audiobook brand! Creative freedom, hands-on marketing, and real impact from day one - perfect for a doer eager to learn and grow.
BookBeat has grown to become one of the leading audiobook services in Europe, and our aim is to be a part of our users’ everyday lives. Our growth journey continues, and we are constantly striving to attract, convert, and retain more people to our service. To accomplish this, marketing via our owned channels (such as email, push notifications, in-app and web messages, and SMS) plays a vital role. To further scale our growth initiatives along the customer lifecycle - with a special focus on Finland - we are now strengthening our team with a Finnish-speaking Junior Growth Marketer!
In this role, you will play a key part in growing and engaging our Finnish user base through creative, data-driven campaigns across the customer lifecycle. While your primary focus will be on Finland, you will also support other initiatives across our global markets and take on ad hoc marketing tasks across the Finnish marketing team, such as assisting with copywriting, partner marketing, and social media content production. So if you are at the early stages of your career and eager to learn and grow, this opportunity is perfect for you. What matters most to us is finding someone with the right energy, curiosity, and a “get-things-done” mindset.
You will work at the intersection of creativity, sales, and analytics - using insights to inform strategy and drive results across the customer lifecycle: from acquisition, to loyalty & engagement, to churn prevention & retention. You will be part of Team Growth Marketing, but also collaborate closely with the broader Finnish marketing team and our international Marketing & Sales team - filled with sharp marketers, brand designers, and analysts. The role is based at BookBeat's headquarters in Stockholm and you will report to our Growth Marketing Director.
Some things you will do:
- Drive growth in the Finnish market using owned channels (email, web, app, push, etc.)
- Plan, create, and optimize campaigns aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Develop creative marketing concepts and write compelling Finnish copy
- Analyze and report campaign performance
- Conduct A/B tests and experimentation to improve outcomes
- Use audience segmentation and data analysis to personalize communication
- Collaborate with local marketers, brand designers, analysts, developers, and content specialists
- Support the Finnish marketing team with ad hoc tasks, such as copywriting, partner assets, and social media production
As a person, you:
- Are ambitious, energetic, positive, and proactive
- Are self-motivated and eager to learn
- Enjoy brainstorming creative ideas and thinking outside the box
- Strive to make data-informed decisions in everything you do
- Have a genuine curiosity about the world of Marketing Automation
- Have a commercial mindset and are excited by opportunities to drive sales
- Have stellar Finnish copywriting skills (and are eager to continue developing this!)
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Appreciate flexibility in your work but stay structured and detail-oriented
We also want you to:
- Be fluent in Finnish and English, Swedish is a plus
- Have a university degree in business, marketing, communications, or similar and/or 1-2 years of relevant work experience

About us
In 2015, we began our journey towards the goal of offering Europe’s leading service for digital books and in 2016, we launched to the public. Now, about 9 years since our broad launch, BookBeat is used by over 1 million users every month. We are an ever-growing company within the Bonnier Group and all members who join our journey have the possibility to make an impact on our development – both in the short and long run.
Today, Team BookBeat consists of around 170 curious and committed doers. Are you interested in becoming part of our team? Wonderful! While our employees are experts at many different areas, we have four core values uniting all of us:
🚀 Be great at what you do
📣 Share what you know
🔎 Curiosity for our users and us
🤝 Build Team BookBeat
In other words: we want our employees to continuously deep dive into and develop within their area(s) of expertise, but also to share that knowledge with their colleagues – we’re all in this together and cooperate (most often a lot) on a daily basis! We’re also looking for employees who are genuinely curious about our users, journey and organization, a curiosity that drives us to always test out new things in our service and to let our users show us if we’re on the right track. Last but definitely not least we want all our employees to contribute to the everyday cooperations and the wellbeing of Team BookBeat – as already mentioned, we’re in this together and we want our team to be healthy and happy at work, and we all contribute to this in different ways.
