Marketing Coordinator Norway
Passionate about growth marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships? Fluent in Norwegian with cultural market insights? Join us and help us become one of Norway's largest audiobook services.
Are growth marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships close to your heart? Are you a results-driven doer who genuinely enjoys testing new ideas? Do you write and speak fluent Norwegian, with a deep understanding of the Norwegian market and culture? If you tick these boxes, we are thrilled that our paths have crossed. You could be the perfect fit to help us build one of the largest audiobook services in Norway as our next Marketing Coordinator!
In 2021, BookBeat launched on the Norwegian market with a broad campaign. In the years to come, our ambition is to grow exponentially and become one of the leading audiobook services in our neighbouring country. To succeed with this, we are building a world-class team that daily attracts new users to BookBeat and grows our brand awareness through everything we do. As the next step of this journey, we’re looking for our next superstar – a Marketing Coordinator Norway to join our team here in Stockholm.
This role is perfect for someone who is in the early stages of their career and wants to take their next steps in a fun, dynamic, and fast-paced environment where they can make a real impact – both in the short and long term! To succeed in this role, you are curious, driven, and passionate about developing both yourself, the team you work in, and BookBeat as a whole. You have a genuine interest in understanding, creating, and optimizing marketing that drives growth – especially through social media and influencer partnerships. By building and developing our social media strategy and presence, you will be involved in setting up organic and paid social media campaigns, as well as influencer activations.
We believe you have a relevant education and/or up to a couple of years' experience in a similar role. However, having the right personality, skills, and drive to develop within growth-driven marketing is key to us, and we therefore place a lot of emphasis on who you are and how you will fit in the role and team.
As our next colleague, you will be part of our Norwegian marketing team but will also work closely with our sharp marketing and sales team filled with marketers, designers, and analysts. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with the entire Team BookBeat. You report directly to our Chief Business Development Officer. Moreover, you will also work closely with external partners – such as agencies, consumer services, publishers, and influencer networks – so strong communication skills are essential. Your primary workplace will be our HQ in Stockholm, but the role will also involve trips to Norway to meet local partners.
The role tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Drive and optimize social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok
- Build and manage relationships with influencers and content creators to amplify our brand
- Analyze performance on social media and influencer collaborations, using data to optimize future efforts
- Establish, maintain, and develop partnerships with external partners
- Support with planning and implementation of other marketing campaigns on the Norwegian market
We would love it if you have:
- A relevant university degree in economics, marketing, or communication
- Worked with digital marketing, sales, or similar tasks for up to a couple of years
- Experience managing social media accounts or influencer collaborations, either professionally or personally
As a person, you are someone who:
- Is a sharp communicator that speaks and writes Norwegian fluently and has a good knowledge of English. If you understand Swedish, it’s a plus, but not a must!
- Is creative, data-driven, and loves experimenting with new ideas to drive growth
- Appreciates working in a thorough and structured way together with your team
- Is curious and a self-starter. You love to try out new things!
Are you ready for your next exciting chapter? If so, we would love to hear from you today! If you have any questions, please contact William Jakoby, Chief Business Development Officer william.jakoby@bookbeat.com

About us
In 2015, we began our journey towards the goal of offering Europe’s leading service for digital books and in 2016, we launched to the public. Now, about 9 years since our broad launch, BookBeat is used by over 900 000 users every month. We are an ever-growing company within the Bonnier Group and all members who join our journey have the possibility to make an impact on our development – both in the short and long run.
Today, Team BookBeat consists of around 160 curious and committed doers. Are you interested in becoming part of our team? Wonderful! While our employees are experts at many different areas, we have four core values uniting all of us:
🚀 Be great at what you do
📣 Share what you know
🔎 Curiosity for our users and us
🤝 Build Team BookBeat
In other words: we want our employees to continuously deep dive into and develop within their area(s) of expertise, but also to share that knowledge with their colleagues – we’re all in this together and cooperate (most often a lot) on a daily basis! We’re also looking for employees who are genuinely curious about our users, journey and organization, a curiosity that drives us to always test out new things in our service and to let our users show us if we’re on the right track. Last but definitely not least we want all our employees to contribute to the everyday cooperations and the wellbeing of Team BookBeat – as already mentioned, we’re in this together and we want our team to be healthy and happy at work, and we all contribute to this in different ways.
