Senior UX Designer
Ready to get more people to sign up—and stay? As Senior UX Designer, you’ll turn insights into experiments and craft seamless journeys that drive conversion, retention, and long-term love for BookBeat
As a Senior UX Designer at BookBeat, you will focus on improving how users discover, sign up, and fall in love with our service. This means working hands-on across the full funnel — from first impression and onboarding to payment and retention.
You’ll be part of the Conversion team, working closely with developers, CRO specialists, product and marketing in a highly data-driven environment where ideas quickly turn into features and experiments.
This is a role with real ownership and impact: your work directly affects how many users choose to start and stay with BookBeat.
The Conversion team is responsible for developing BookBeat’s user acquisition platform on the web, user offers, retention, payment solutions, user account handling and customer support platforms. We work cross-functionally with teams across BookBeat, with the marketing teams across our markets as our key stakeholders.
The role includes, among other things, to:
Own and improve key user journeys across our web platforms
Identify user needs through research, data analysis and experimentation together with the team
Design user journeys that are intuitive, inclusive and accessible for all users
Ensure a cohesive and consistent design of our web platforms
Turn insights into hypotheses and drive continuous optimization
Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders across teams
We are looking for someone who:
Has at least 4 years of experience in UX design, in a B2C environment
Has a good understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
Has experience working closely with product, developers and marketing
Is used to working with experimentation (A/B testing is a plus)
Communicates clearly and enjoys collaborating with others
Is fluent in Swedish and English
Are you ready to take on the role of our new Senior UX Designer in the Conversion Team? Apply today! If you have any questions, please contact our Chief Business Development Officer william.jakoby@bookbeat.com.

About us
In 2015, we began our journey towards the goal of offering Europe’s leading service for digital books and in 2016, we launched to the public. Now, about 10 years since our broad launch, BookBeat is used by over 1 million users every month. We are an ever-growing company within the Bonnier Group and all members who join our journey have the possibility to make an impact on our development – both in the short and long run.
Today, Team BookBeat consists of around 170 curious and committed doers. Are you interested in becoming part of our team? Wonderful! While our employees are experts at many different areas, we have four core values uniting all of us:
🚀 Be great at what you do
📣 Share what you know
🔎 Curiosity for our users and us
🤝 Build Team BookBeat
In other words: we want our employees to continuously deep dive into and develop within their area(s) of expertise, but also to share that knowledge with their colleagues – we’re all in this together and cooperate (most often a lot) on a daily basis! We’re also looking for employees who are genuinely curious about our users, journey and organization, a curiosity that drives us to always test out new things in our service and to let our users show us if we’re on the right track. Last but definitely not least we want all our employees to contribute to the everyday cooperations and the wellbeing of Team BookBeat – as already mentioned, we’re in this together and we want our team to be healthy and happy at work, and we all contribute to this in different ways.
