Are you a driven marketeer with a few years of experience under your belt and ready to take on more ownership and impact? Do you love testing new ideas, working across a wide range of media channels, and building a strong local presence for a growing brand? If you're also fluent in Dutch, know the Dutch market inside-out, and thrive in a dynamic environment – you might be the perfect fit to help BookBeat become one of the leading audiobook services in the Netherlands!
About the role
Since launching in the Netherlands in 2022, BookBeat is growing fast and we’re now looking for a hands-on and strategic Marketing Manager Netherlands to take our local marketing efforts to the next level.
This role is ideal for someone with a relevant education and at least 2 years of marketing experience, preferably with exposure to both digital and offline channels (such as OOH, TV, or radio). However, having the right personality, skills and drive to develop within growth-driven marketing is key to us, and we therefore place a lot of emphasis on personal suitability
We are looking for someone that has a strong interest in understanding and developing marketing that drives growth, with a mix of broader brand-building activities and more tactical, sales-driven communication.
As Marketing Manager, you will own and drive marketing initiatives on the Dutch market – from strategy to execution. You will play a key role in making sure that all local marketing activities align with our targets and budget, and that we invest in campaigns that continues to drive user growth over time in the Netherlands. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing specialists, analysts, designers, and external partners, while reporting directly to the Country Manager Netherlands. You’ll be based at BookBeat’s HQ in central Stockholm, with occasional trips to the Netherlands.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop, manage and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital channels (paid social media, influencers, podcasts) as well as offline channels (OOH, TV, strategic partnerships)
- Ensure we align our campaigns to our marketing strategy, budget and plan for the Dutch market – and adjust and develop it when needed
- Analyze campaign performance and use insights to refine our marketing activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, tech and customer experience teams internally, but also work together with external agencies and partners
We would love it if you have:
- A relevant university degree in economics, marketing, or communication
- 2+ years of hands-on marketing experience, preferably in a digital-first and/or consumer-facing brand
As a person, you are someone who:
- Are confident working across both digital and traditional media channels
- Are fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills
- Have strong project management skills and a structured way of working
- Are a curious, data-driven problem solver that enjoys working towards ambitious targets together with your team
