We are expanding our eminent Team Marketing & Sales with a Finnish-speaking Social Media Coordinator Finland. Are you a skilled communicator, a fan of creating content and a doer at your fingertips? Do you also have a genuine interest in social media, optimization and perhaps even experience in working with data to grow social media channels? Then you might be just the right fit for us!

The role as our Social Media Coordinator Finland is perfect for you who are in the beginning of your career, communicate fluently in Finnish and are looking for your next exciting challenge. You are newly graduated and/or have a few years of experience in a similar role. While we appreciate experience in the field of social media, the most important thing for us is that you have the right personality and motivation to develop in a fast-paced environment. Long story short, we are looking for someone that has the right personality, competence and drive.

As our next colleague, you will be a key person in our presence on various social media platforms for the Finnish market, and you will contribute to everything from creative ideas to implementation, evaluation and optimization. In addition to having a relevant education, we see that you are a sharp communicator who wants to work with data-driven maximization of channels, copywriting and simpler image editing (the market's best team of designers will help you with the difficult ones). Additionally, we see that you as a person are curious and independent, and you do not hesitate to try out new things. Moreover, you are creative and hold analysis close to your heart. In addition to these things, you also communicate fluently in Finnish, both in speech and writing.

As our Social Media Coordinator Finland, you will be the one who keeps a close eye on what kind of content drives growth and commitment in our social channels for the Finnish market. By your side, you'll have a close-knit team filled with marketers, designers and analysts, and you'll report to our Marketing Manager for Finland. Your workplace will be BookBeat's HQ in Stockholm.

The role’s tasks include (but are not limited to):

  • plan, produce and optimize campaigns in different channels with focus on our social media channels: creating content and engaging copy
  • grow our follower base and increase engagement in our social media channels
  • build a strong community for BookBeat
  • communicate and interact with our followers

We would ideally want you to:

  • have a relevant education, for instance in communication or marketing
  • have a genuine interest in social media
  • be driven by what really drives growth and engagement in social media and by constantly challenging that understanding
  • be accurate and structured, with a great interest in data and our users
  • be self-motivated, creative and take initiative
  • cooperate well, both with your own team and cross-functionally
  • communicate fluently in Finnish and English, Swedish is a plus

It is an advantage if you have:

  • experience in optimizing communication to different target groups
  • experience of working with social media, such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
  • basic knowledge of image editing software such as Photoshop

Do you think you're the right match? Then we can't wait to see your application! If you have any questions, contact Marketing Manager Rosa Bergheim at rosa.bergheim@bookbeat.com or Talent Manager Rosanna Viitasalo at rosanna.viitasalo@bookbeat.com.

When you work at BookBeat you will...

  • Work at a prime office location in the heart of Stockholm. If you join the team in Stockholm, you can enjoy free access to a full gym complete with a sauna, or borrow a bicycle from reception to speed off to your next meeting. However! Given the current situation, we're working from home right now. We are SO looking forward to hanging out with both our rookies and veterans at the office again, but until then - BookBeaters are true experts at adapting. We make sure everything runs smootly even when working remotely.
  • Have the opportunity to grow in your role and career. We believe in giving all of our employees the tools they need so that they can be great at what they do. This includes challenging and educational work assignments as well as opportunities for education
  • Enjoy our Friday afternoon mingles (or as we call it Beer O'Clock) and monthly company breakfasts. We see the importance of having a strong team and we organize fun events to make sure we all stay connected.
  • Enjoy very fun (we may be biased) work events. From Christmas parties with our colleagues at Bonnierförlagen to Road Map days ending in a company trip to the spa, we host and participate in all different kinds of fun activities.
  • Partake in Hack Days. Hack Days are a full day dedicated to exploring projects that you might not have time to do in your day to day work. In the past people have done everything from creating an app to be used for marketing campaigns to exploring how to integrate voice and machine learning into our existing product. We’ve even had employees use their hack day to bake sweet treats for the rest of the team.
  • Present at Friday Demo. Every Friday we hold a cross company demo where you have the opportunity to share what you've been working on that week. We believe in cross-functional work and having a weekly demo facilitates this by giving you the opportunity to brag a bit about your hard work and your latest accomplishments.
